Welcome to the BCCLS Help Desk, your convenient form for reporting problems and requests.

How to report problems and other requests

Please use the form below, selecting the corresponding "Problem Type" from the drop-down menu.

Circulation / Workflows - Questions about the function of Workflows and circulation support (checking out books, renewing patrons, etc).

Customized Reports - Requests for a custom report of any kind.

Downloadable audio - Questions related to OverDrive or NetLibrary downloadable audiobooks and portable digital players.

Equipment (hardware/software) Problems - Computers, printers, windows, internet and network problems.

Linking questions - Problems adding an item to a record.

Policy files - Requests for changes or problems with policy files

Network Outages/Circ Down

If you are COMPLETELY down, or circulation is down, you should call in the following sequence:
  1. Monday - Friday: BCCLS Administrative Offices 201-489-1904
  2. Saturday: Computer Center 201-489-1283
  3. If no one answers either of the above refer to Staff Contacts and Downtime Procedures

Database Error Reports

The Database Error Submission form has moved! You can now submit database error reports directly from the catalog. When you spot an error, turn on Librarian's View. A 'submit a Database Error Report' link will appear above the holdings table. Click on the link, complete the form (note that title, author, ISBN, UPC, pagination, and TCN are automatically generated) and click submit. That's all there is to it! As always, thank you for being an extra set of eyes.
